Great Outdoor Recreation in Alden. The 17 acre Coy Mountain Nature Preserve is located southeast of Alden off Valley Road, The rolling terrain makes it perfect for hiking and snowshoeing. The overlook of Torch Lake is spectacular, although its best enjoyed when the leaves are off the trees.
