Description
The famous Sand Bar is stretches across the entire south end of Torch Lake. The water varies in depth from inches up to 10 feet before it drops away at the north and west ends. The shallowest part is of course along the shoreline and at the northwest corner where boaters anchor and gather to swim, play, socialize and spend an afternoon. On weekends in the summer it is not uncommon to have hundreds of boats enjoying the day and the caribbean blue waters of Torch Lake. The Torch Lake Sand Bar is a destination unto itself and is a reason that will keep you coming back for more!
